Puncture Repairs

A punctured tyre is a damaged tyre, and must only be repaired by a fully trained professional. All our staff are experienced, audited and certified by Michelin tyre plc.

It is not always necessary to replace a tyre when punctured - in many cases, the tyre can be repaired. However, we would advise you to get the tyre checked by our team.

Repair of Conventional tyres
Our tyre repairs are covered under Safety Standard BSAU159. This standard sets out what kind of tyre damage can be repaired. All tyres must be removed from the rim and checked for internal damage before repair. We can carry out tyre / puncture repairs to this BS AU159 standard for €10.00 for our Loyality Members or RRP €15.00 including balance and refitting to your car.

Repair of Run Flat tyres
They have specially reinforced sidewalls to enable them to perform when deflated for a limited distance (upto 150 kms) and at a restricted speed (upto 80 kph). The distance permitted under these conditions may vary according to the tyre or vehicle manufacturer concerned. When running in a totally deflated or significantly under-inflated condition the tyre’s internal structure is subjected to high stresses and hence may become weakened and permanently damaged, rendering the tyre unsuitable for repair. Unlike standard tyres, most damage symptoms may not be visible to an untrained eye, with run flat tyres. We can evaluate punctured runflat tyres and if repairable, a minor puncture repair will cost €24.99 including rebalance and fitting.
